Welcome

Thank you for stopping by to perv on my blog, as I fight myself to change my old habits and make new ones to get fit. I don't get it right all the time, but I'm still here and I'm still working at it.

My homage to the 14lbs that I lost on Allan’s DDDY Challenges. A watering can for the vast oceans of water that I have learned to drink and love every day.

Shifting

mind shift, eating shift

I've been thinking about my consumption and questioning myself on WANT vs NEED. I was riding with the hubby and wanted to get ice cream last night... and I knew that if I said so, he would say "sure".

I said nothing. I thought about ice cream, but when I got home I got busy and it passed.

Hopped on the scale just a few minutes ago... 298.5lbs... that is nice to see in the middle of the day and after seeing the other side of 300 for the last couple weeks.

Quite pleased, actually.

Tena... the Fit Foods... very very good! I was more than a little surprised. I'll have to tell you more as I get into it. The Medium sized meal is perfect for me, keeps me full. The last 2 lunches at the office and snacks, has been total YUM!

That was a nice thing to do! Most(all) binges are wants not needs! so learning to wait till they pass is the best way of cutting calories!

I'm learning to practice that, too, letting it pass - what a concept :)

The fit food thing sounds awesome! Thanks for letting me know that they are yummy. I'll have to check them out now.

Tammy, you're doing great!

Your hubby is as (bad, good????) as mine. If I say I want something that we know I shouldn't be having, he'll say "Okay, I'll get it for you".

The WANT vs. NEED is important to figure out. So many times I know I don't need to have something but want it sooooo badly. So it's great that you're starting to question whether you want or need it.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the Fit Foods. :)
