Spawn - Day 7

Monday Monday!

I have to say that today is my usual weigh in and I'm not going to bother with my exciting weigh in yesterday for the Spawn challenge.

However, as a teaser, I'm very pleased with this mornings number as well! HA! Take that cliffhanger! ;)

Last night after my massive salad dinner I was still hungry... I had my popcorn...still hungry.... My stomach growled all the way to this mornings breakfast. The husband even commented while we were on the couch last night that he heard it rumble. LOL

I am proud to say that I didn't freak out. I sat on the couch and THOUGHT about all the things that I could do. I could get up, get in my car and go out and get something... something... icecreamy...

Then I thought that I would have to log it on my spreadsheet, change all the numbers and then re-post it all... and ... I'm too lazy! :D HA!! take that hunger. I'm TOO lazy to get food.

Tonight is one of my favorite dinners. We are going to go for a big walk and keep that end of things moving along. More exercise each day in little increments. I have one more big task to get done... sleep.

I've been staying up later and later and later... last night I didn't get to sleep until 1.30am. I have to be up at 7am (at the latest!). So this is not working for me. Its such a bad habit, and hard for me to stop since I am a natural night owl.

I want to start getting up and doing a home workout in the mornings, so I'm going to get into a HOT bath tonight and get to bed early and try to get some extra winks. Then force myself to get up early for this week.

Water: 79.6oz at the moment. Aiming for +160

DDDY Challenge - day 2

Right. Cravings busted. *karate chop*

Actually - its not even cravings it.... like my fat being greedy. I want. I don't need. I'm going to punch that inner fat kid in the face next time I'm tempted.

Water: 3L and counting. woot! Another great side effect of this is that it gets me up and out of my chair at the office for more bathroom breaks.

Today was good, work was busy. I felt like I was sucking hind teat all day. Need to get some more sleep tonight, and I'm going to have a great long hot bath after I watch Biggest Loser. Husband is away with work tonight, so I will have lots of room to spread out in bed tonight.

Tomorrow is blood donation day, so I'm likely going to go over on my calories as I'm going to need some juice to get me going. I'm stopping to get some POM tomorrow. I love that stuff and its not too bad for you.

Ahhhhhhhh. Time for dinner!!

Another day bites the dust

Work today was... intensive! Large complex spreadsheets with me hunched over checking formulas on pages and pages ... my eyes are exhausted, so this will be short!

I ate well - had another giant salad for lunch! YUMMY!! I needed a break from the office so I hopped in my car and went to the Starbucks for a caffeine induces afternoon kick up the arse. I also got a vanilla scone.


I wanted a GREAT BIG HUGE SUGARY SCONE... what I got was.....
a single little "petite vanilla bean scone".
Good thing I didn't know what I was buying or I would have asked for three of the little buggers! In the end, it was a nice treat and the perfect size with my fat free latte. Not to mention a good lesson in the difference between "what I want" and what "what will actually satisfy me".
Got home and me and Mr.Tamzin went for a walk. Did about a mile and a half. Nothing too crazy, but it was nice out and good to get the legs going. Tomorrow... gym time!

Another Quickie! Don't you feel special!

Oh my! I've been a busy girl (right...I had a brief nap post walk/work when I could have been doing this...but I didn't).

Okay, today's cliff notes:

Food: poor - lots of treats around the office that I indulged in (small quantities - but a few too many of them). Not much in the way of greens.
Exercise: good - 30min walk after work
Water: fair - need to get more in me if I'm going to eat poorly
Sleep: heading there now.

Plan for tomorrow....
Excellent breakfast is planned. Salad and leftover dinner in the fridge for lunch, and gym plans for the evening.

halfway moved...

This weekend was the halfway move! I am out of my little condo here and the renter is in. I spent the last 2 days packing, cleaning, moving, scrubbing, washing, wiping.... you know the drill. My gawds, last night I fell into bed and slept like I was dead.

This morning I was up at 7 to do the last of the floors and get ready for the key handover. I was sooooo sore. All over my body. I've not had enough water though, and I've eaten rubbish most of the weekend, so I'm not too keen on tomorrows weight in. Course, Need to find the scale as well! teehee.

I'm now staying in the spare room of a friends place while I work out the last of my two weeks at my job, and wait on immigration papers to get the rest of that done for my final move. Things are still stressful, I hate all this waiting and waiting and waiting...but there is no way around it. And of course, teh job is ending in 2 weeks and I don't have all the papers for immigration. I would hate to be out of work and not able to travel yet. Ug. Started looking for temping jobs in town - shall have to see what comes of that. Really, in this economy, not too sure that there will be much call for temps.

On a good note - today I did go and get some good food this evening. Strawberries, nectarines, bananas, humus, green peppers, cottage cheese and.... can't remember what else... so that I can make some lunch stuff and get some fruits in me this week.

Happily I'm still close enough to walk to the office, in fact, its slightly father away - which is good, and less convenient for groceries - which means walking father! Yay!! Time to get m,y activity levels back UP!

okay - this is all that I have time for... need to get some more sleep and recover from my two day marathon.

Getting through Hump Day

I'm still struggling with getting enough water in me. I have forgotten to bring my little "walking" water bottle for when I'm walking home - today I walked 6.7km and didn't have a drink the whole way..... ug.

Conversely - I had to pee soooo bad by the time I got home that it actually saved me from going to a shop and buying junk food. I WANTED PANCAKES.... but I didn't have the mix or eggs. I stopped at the corner store to get some - and I had to pee so bad that when I didn't see it immediately...that I had to run out of there because I was going to wet my pants if I didn't start walking again. So I hurried home.

I ended up having a 7 grain kashi granola bar, 4-5oz chedder cheese and 5 triskets as a pre dinner snack. Then had 1.5 cups of packaged pre-spiced couscous (very yum) and 1.5c green peas. Dessert was 2 cups of very nice watermelon just now.

Lunch was sushi and a diet coke(ug...must stop getting these at lunchtime), a large orange as my pre-walk snack, and breakfast was a 7grain kashi granola bar, 2 whole grain slices of toast and 3oz peanut butter and a couple of cups of coffee.

So all in all today was pretty good. I didn't walk to the office this morning, but food was good - water was poor (just over 2.5L now and I should be more like 4L).

well thats all for now - time to get some zzzzzzzz
