Tuesday is the new Monday

omg.... this was a very Mondayish kind of day for a Tuesday, and I hope that it doesn't carry over into the rest of the week. ANYWAY... the morning started out really well.



1. I was up AT my alarm. This is a small miracle that you have just witnessed. I have a habit of getting up when I should be leaving, and being about 20min late to work for the last month.



2. Not only was I up at my alarm, but I did 100 crunch, and 100 pushups. If you can call what I was doing a pushup. My the end if was more of a shoulder dip, however, my arms and abs are warm today, so I know they did something.



3. I was at work on time.



Sadly, things took a turn for the worse. Its bee a hellish day at the desk. But, its almost done. So, thats that.



Fluids/Water: currently done 100.5oz of water. its 4.30pm. 100oz is about half what I want to get a day, so today is better than yesterday, but not as good as it could be. I had the lid on the bottle for a while this morning and sadly, that means that I don't sip as much as I should.



Sad, but true.



Walkies: I'm hoping to get one in tonight, but not too sure if I will. We will see. There is actually some blue sky out there, might have to try and take advantage of it.



Food today: Not too bad. I'm pleased. I didn't have the second coffee of the day, but I'm leaving it in there since I'm too lazy to change it! :)

Home soon, and then my firends...its blog perving time. I can't wait!!!!! I'm so out of the loop!

Sunday Roundup

Phew. What a weekend. First of all ... lets get business out of the way!!

Weigh In for the SDDDY challenge.

293.5lbs

Which is +1.5lbs.


I was REALLY upset this morning when I weighed in, but ... after a long morning of stewing over it I reminded myself that all the extra water that I've had and the extra muscle annihilating exercise that I've had for the last 2 days is what is going on here.

I hate that I have to go in and register a GAIN for this week, but I'm confident that those pound...plus a whole lot more will be gone by Monday or Tuesday. Then I read Allans post this morning and knew that I was right, I am on track. I am doing the right things and I didn't come anywhere NEAR to the calories needed to gain 1.5lbs... especially since Friday I was 287.5.

Patience Young Jedi...

Friday:

8 hours of hammering nails, carrying wood, sweeping, bending, stooping and general walking about was amazing with the Habitat for Humanity build. I had a hot bath and was done for the night. 10pm and my eyes were too heavy to stay open. Here is that days food:






















I was over my 2090 by 382 calories. Not too bad considering that I likely burned around 3,600 for the day with all that extra running around.

Saturday:

Up bright and early for my Highland Games competition. It went from 10am to 5pm and I was sore, tired and loving every moment of that on Saturday. Lots of fun and good times, the sun was out, there was a chill in the air. Beautiful day to stand out in the field and throw heavy things.

I didn't eat as well as I wanted, but once again, I likely burned over 3K more calories than I ate. I didn't drink enough water. I have 4.5L, but...with all the work that I was doing, I should have had a LOT more.























A very excellent evening. Now I'm going to go and scour Allans blog for his email address, and then have a hot bath and a cuppa tea!

Another Quickie! Don't you feel special!

Oh my! I've been a busy girl (right...I had a brief nap post walk/work when I could have been doing this...but I didn't).

Okay, today's cliff notes:

Food: poor - lots of treats around the office that I indulged in (small quantities - but a few too many of them). Not much in the way of greens.
Exercise: good - 30min walk after work
Water: fair - need to get more in me if I'm going to eat poorly
Sleep: heading there now.

Plan for tomorrow....
Excellent breakfast is planned. Salad and leftover dinner in the fridge for lunch, and gym plans for the evening.
