okay - its been a while - I've been doing a butt-load of stuff and have been traveling a fair amount. Now tomorrow I'm off home to help my Mum recover from hip replacement surgery.
Last week we were fighting with AT&T over the phone/Internet so we've been without the net for 5 days until tonight.
Exercise has been spotty, as I've been having some major issues with my hip flexor/groin. I thought that it was my office chair however....
We were away from Thursday through Sunday last weekend and after 3 nights in a hotel bed, the hip issue had totally recovered. I thought that it was the rest, or something... BUT... I got home and woke up in our bed at midnight in AGONY.
I didn't think that our mattress was that bad...there is a notable angle and its lumpy. I had no idea that it could be so bad for me. So I went online that day at lunch and ordered me a new one for delivery that night.
There was a grand that I didn't want to spend out of savings, but its totally worth it in the end. Slept like a baby last night.
Food has been Good then bad. I've been doing a lot of:
1. speed eating
2. binging on crackers
3. eating in the car
Three major signs that I'm over stressed, under worked out and over tired. CARB CRAZY.
I have been good about the water, and getting in my veg. So hoping that I can work this out. I'm hoping the trip home will be good and let me relax. Won't be back here until after October 1st.
Hope all is well out there. I need to get back into perving full time again.

Another week gone!
Mondays weigh in sucked! But, I'm just carrying on carrying on. Must keep pressing forwards.
Short holiday weeks are brutal for work - 5 days of work pressed into four. The long weekend effed me up in terms of sleep and I've been up to 12.30 or 1 am all week. Ug. So, I've not been getting up this week to go to the gym.
That set up a lovely cycle for me. Too much time sitting at work x 2 days of high heels - exercise = hip and back cramping.

I managed to get out for a very short and jarring walk on Thursday evening. Heat, rest and a walk on Friday has helped and I'm almost back to normal. Today I repainted the half bath, bending reaching, taping , painting. That was today workout.
Tomorrow is the gym, and then getting ready for the next week. Water was good today.

Inches
I meaured inches on Saturday and was pretty darn happy. Down 2.5 inches which is great for all the hard work that I have been doing.
Then... I pulled out the dreaded scale on Sunday. It had to be good news right, I just HAAAAD to know.

I'm off work today and procrastinating on getting my walking in. I'm going to post then then head out to the gym. 45min and 200 cruches. Ug.

One weeks worth of updates!
Monday - rest
Tuesday - am weights
Front squats 65lbs 3set x 6 reps
military press 30lbs 3 x 6
incline press 25lbs 3 x 6
bent over rows 35lbs 3 x 6
crunches 100 (OUCH)
PM - walk and some squats in the park.
Wednesday: 35min cardio, 125 crunches
Thursday - am weights
1 arm dumbbell snatch 35 1 x 6, 30 2 x 6
Walking lunges 3 x 20 lunges (not recommended if you like being able to walk normally the next day! haha)
Lat pulldowns 100lbs 3 x 6
crunches 125
Friday - walk in the park in the evening. Xtremely sore.
Saturday - morning walk and adventure in the park. Squats and presses.
I am super sore these last few days. Its good and bad of course. I am still lacking sleep in a major way and Friday was a bad water day which really didn't help matters.
Other than that, I'm eating okay and feeling good. We are working hard on making this morning routine stick so that makes me really happy. Okay. I am going to go and have a look at my inches. I'm totally afraid to weight in ... just in case the news is bad. I don't want to get off my morning stride by a depressing weigh in.
